About Us

The Redwood Band  was  formed  around  1995  during  the  time  of  the   very  popular  MTV   unplugged series.  They  began  as  an  acoustic  duo  of  Graham  and  Russell  before  Bringing  in  Stefan  on  percussion.  The  band  became  very  popular  around  the Chelmsford  pub  circuit.  Eventually  bass  guitar  was  addded  as  well  as  a  drummer. Since  those  early  days  the  band  has  gone  through  a  few  changes .  The  band  has  had  its  current  line  up  for  nearly  ten  years  and  has  become  a  very  popular  band  for  weddings  and  formal  functions  as  well  as  appearing  in  local  pubs and clubs around  the  Essex  area.  Over  the  years  the  band  have  accumulated a  vast  set  list  of  popular  songs  from  1950’s  Rock  n  Roll  to  present  day  hits. They  are  able  to  play many  different styles  of  music  suitable  for  any  event.  With  so  much  experience within  the  band  they  are  able  to  create  a  great  atmosphere  and  play  the  right  music  for  any  situation.
